Manager's Letter

Summer 2016

“Orange Barrel Season” is here!

The summer brings “Orange Barrel Season” to most areas and Upper St. Clair is no exception. Painters Run, McLaughlin Run, and Fort Couch Roads are in the midst of improvements as of this writing. New traffic arms and signs have been installed at the intersection of McMurray and Bethel Church Roads near the recently opened Dunkin’ Donuts. The Morrow Road Bridge replacement is expected to begin this summer and improvements to the Lesnett/McMillan/ McLaughlin Run intersection are in the planning stage. The Township’s annual road program is also in full swing with this year’s local road repaving.

These temporary detours and traffic delays will result in safer conditions and better traffic flow. So please be patient, careful, and aware. Have a great summer!

Matthew R. Serakowski
Township Manager
